Wedding Packages - The Basics

Each Hilton Head resort that offers various wedding packages will eagerly assist you in planning your wedding. Some are alike and some very different. Most wedding destinations in Hilton Head will offer the basics that include:

1. Oceanfront, Beachfront, Courtyard or Ballroom setting for your Ceremony and Reception.
2. Separate rooms for bride and groom for the night before wedding.
3. Your selection of Buffet Dinner, Station Reception or Plated Meals for guests.
4. Cocktail Service of House Brand Liquor, Beer and Wine.
5. Bar, service, and cleanup staff.
6. A Champagne Toast
7. Beautiful Homemade Wedding Cake option
8. Complimentary Hotel Room for the Bride and Groom on their Wedding Night.
9. Discount rates for additional rooms in resort for guests.

Although none of the resorts will take responsibility for billing and services of outside services (like florists, etc.) they normally have affiliations with Hilton Head wedding oriented businesses to help assure a smooth planning process.

Book Ahead of Time

We have listed many of the extra services you may require, like entertainment, florists, and photographers for your convenience. After its all said and done, a complete wedding package in any of the higher rated resorts will cost anywhere between $5,000 up to $100,000 depending on the amount of people and place you choose. (averages are probably around $15,000 to $40,000)

Be sure to book at least 6 months in advance in order to get the date you desire. Hilton Head is a very popular place for beach weddings. If you have the chance to visit any of the resorts wedding planners, you will probably get the opportunity to witness a wedding or reception in action.
